How do I play cornhole?
Set up the boards: Place the cornhole boards 27 feet apart from front edge to front edge. The front edge of the boards should be exactly even with the ground.
Get in position: Stand behind the front of your side of the board, with your feet shoulder-width apart and your toes behind the front edge of the board. Keep your dominant foot slightly ahead of the other.
Hold the bag properly: Hold the cornhole bag with your dominant hand, gripping it on the bottom corners of the bag. Keep the bag level and flat.
Begin the throw: Swing your arm back and forth once or twice to loosen up. Then, swing your arm forward while simultaneously releasing the bag from your hand.
Follow through: After releasing the bag, follow through with your throwing arm by bringing it forward and down towards the board. This will help with accuracy and power.
Aim for the hole: The objective of the game is to throw the cornhole bag through the hole in the board. Aim for the center of the board, adjusting your aim as necessary to account for wind or other factors.
Practice makes perfect: Practice your throw to improve your aim and consistency.
Some additional tips to keep in mind:
Keep your body still while throwing to help with accuracy.
Use your non-throwing hand to steady yourself against your side or leg.
Experiment with different throwing techniques to find what works best for you.
Stay relaxed and focused while throwing. Don't overthink it or get too tense.
